Squad Update

Squad Update: 

There are a number of squad movements to bring you as Steve Smith reshapes his Blues squad. 

We are pleased to welcome midfielder Alfie Wellens on an initial month-long loan deal from League One side Leyton Orient. 

We also welcome Sha’Mar Lawson to the club. The former Millwall youngster has also previously represented Maidstone Utd, Ebbsfleet Utd and Woking.

Also arriving at the Grundon Community Stadium is Oliver Reeve.  The former Stevenage left back has also enjoyed step 3 experience with Aveley, Welling Utd and Royston Town. 

Staying on with the Blues is central defender Alfie Thornett. The promising Stevenage loanee has extended his stay with the club for another month. 

We are also pleased to welcome goalkeeper Calum Barnes on a month-long loan from Stevenage. Calum replaces Max Woodford, who was recalled by Stevenage to feature on the bench in an EFL Trophy game last week and is therefore unable to return to the Blues due to EFL rules.   

We also say farewell to defender Leon Davies and midfielder Obi Onyeagwara as they depart the club. 

Leon departs having made 56 appearances for the club, whilst Obi moves on with 4 goals in 51 Blues outings to his name.
