Blues Launch U23’s

Blues Launch U23’s 

We can confirm that the Blues have entered an U23 side into the Suburban League for the 2026/27 season. 

We have been placed into the Premier Division, comprising of 12 teams, with our home fixtures to be played on Saturday afternoons when our first team are away from home.   

Our opponents during the campaign will be Aldershot Town, Berkhamsted, Binfield, Bracknell Town, Cobham, Colney Heath, Corinthian Casuals, Harrow Borough, Newport Pagnell Town, St Albans City and Woking. 

Blues Academy Manager Dan Evans highlighted the importance of the player pathway as a key reason for the decision to launch the side:  

“We are incredibly excited to announce our new Bishop’s Stortford U23s side.  We will be putting together a group comprised of Academy and youth players to compete in the Suburban League alongside other U23 and Reserve team set ups. 

The introduction of the new U23 side helps provide a complete pathway and development plan from our youth section all the way through to the first team. It bridges the current gap to our first eleven and will help us to develop some of our exciting young talent into first team players of the future.”
